. Found a way to close windows tightly on
1964 Globetrotter. With only cranks it is hard to close them tightly with out damaging the crank gear.
Solution: Open the window widely. Remove the two nylon filler guides in the tracks. Slide a 3/16" nut into the track and down to the bottom on each side. Take a 2" x3/16" screw eye. Place a large fender washer on it and push the end of the screw eye through the corner of the screen and into the nut in the track. Turning the screw eye pulls the window in tightly. It takes 20 minutes per window.
