Bargman H20-2 install pics?
Im mounting a Bargman H-20-2 handle in my trailer door. Does anyone have a pic of how it was installed in a factory install. I can dream up a way but I prefer not to complicate things. Thanks in advance

Hi BradS, VTS seems to have some good picks and a walk through in the field notes. Take a look here. Bargman H20-2 Handle.
There are a few threads on this lock too. Bargman H20-2 - Google Search

What I would really like to see is a photo of the inside of the door with the handle installed. I have seen the face of the door with the handle installed, Im looking for the business end

I came up with a way to mount the Bargman handle in my door. It wasn't much after I finished that Doug posted a pic of how the factory did it.The first pic is the plate I made to hold it in place, second pic is the handle installed and the last is how the factory did it.

Brad, I rebuilt 2 of these locks. I used por15 on the 2 steel braces and recreated the wood insert ( a much better looking piece than original) and coated it with marine epoxy to extend its lifespan. I like your solution. Cleaner, stronger and will not degrade. Wish I had thought of something similar. However, mine are done and work flawlessly. Ed

Yours looks great and what I would think the factory would do, the other looks like a caveman made!Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing.

Bargman H-20-2 lockset key
Came across this thread, and looking for a lockset cylinder for the Bargman H-20-2. I have this lock, but need an actual key. Anyone know of a replacement source?

Went to Inland RV showed a picture of the lock, and they do not have replacement parts. FYI
I did source a used lockset from a Craig's list ad, but they want $350. Will try a locksmith to see how far I get with that option.

i didnt think they would. This lock has been out of production for a real long time. I have herd rumor that the lock cylinder is from an old ford product. Something like a 1938. The cylinder I have is still in working order although I wouldnt mind finding a spare if you locate a good source
