71 Excella 500 Window support rod removal,HELP!

Hi,I'm removing my existing windows to replace seals and tint them.Where the support rod is attached to the window frame,there is a small circular clip holding the rod in the hole.It keeps the rod from coming out of the window.I can't get it loose.Any suggestions would help.I'm keeping the original rods and don't want to screw them up,(cutting,prying,etc.).I'm sure it's simple,but I need to know what to do.Thanks and happy Airstreamin'.

Sorry,no pics.I figured it out though.I have a cutting wheel that fits on my drill.I placed it flush with the edge of the clip and cut through the clip enough to pry it off with a scraper.It's a very small clip,so I was careful not to cut into the window bracket.It worked well and is easy to do if you're careful.Thanks for asking about it.Dan.
