We asked him to order it from one of the reputable companies we heard about on the forums. The first time I do not know where they ordered from but they received the wrong size. The next time they ordered from the company we asked him to.
After awhile of not getting the window the company gave him Airstreams number to call them directly. They did and 4 months later they receive the window but again it was the wrong size-too big. They contacted Airstream who told they no longer make that size. The glass shop said they could not cut it down.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

Sorry, but "ALL" the windows for a 1969 Airstream
are available from a dealer.
However, because several different windows were used, you must be "exact" in your description.
Opening, non-opening, exact location, (front, rear, side).
Ball park, there are 3 sizes of opening windows. 20, 30 or 40 inches wide.
Then there are stack windows which are below the opening windows, same widths.
Vista view window are above those that open.
Lastly, there are 2 wing windows which are on either side of the front window, and same sizes.
A word of caution. The hinge must be changed on all the opening windows, using the original hinge in place of a hinge that's with the new window. The crazy 1969 hinge has not been available for some 40 plus years.
Glass only, has "never" been available, but the glass and sash are.
