I have a water leak (dripping) issue with a water pressure regulator located near the main water shut off valve in my garage. The water leak is occuring from the side of the regulator. Now the plumber is going to come next week to look at it... One thing I wanted to ask is Is there a warranty period on water regulators if they have to be replaced within 2 years - mines a new house ?
Also how much does it cost to repair the water regulator leak ? Would appreciate any help
It may not be worth repairing it, depending on cost. I looked at one for my house recently and it was less than $100. Installation might be more than the cost of the regulator. If it's leaking from a gasket it might be repairable.
If you got a home warranty it was probably only for a one year term, but it's worth looking into it.
Good luck, Rich
