Water leak - is the floor being damaged?
I bought a 2015 25' International new at the dealer and have had quite a few problems with it. A few examples include the lights work occasionally, half are burned out or dim, others flicker. The jack isn't charging from shore power, the dealer thinks it is something with the converter. The breaker panel cooling fan runs more and more, often late at night when all the windows are open and it's cool inside and there isn't any load besides the refrigerator. At one point a dealer service technician opened a service panel and was shocked that the trailer had any power at all, apparently some connection was never made at the factory. And the AC almost always trips the breaker when it is connected to a new campsite for the first time (I have to run the refrigerator and water heater on gas and not turn on anything besides the AC for about an hour before it will stay on without popping the breaker).
But I digress, the real reason for my post is a water leak. The fitting where the city water enters the trailer is leaking. I could hear dripping so I opened the access panels under the bathroom sink and there was water and calcium deposits on the black plastic tire well, as well as calcium stains on the wall. The dealer took a look and said they tightened up some loose fittings, but the leak has persisted. Tonight I could hear dripping again so I crawled under the sink and there was fresh water. I could hear the dripping but didn't see actual water droplets falling. I realized the dripping was INSIDE the wall, between the outside aluminum skin and inside aluminum skin.
I don't know how long this has been going on. Is there any possibility that the wood subfloor has sustained damage or rot? I don't know what a cross section of the trailer looks like at that point so I don't know where the water has been able to migrate to. Any help or insight would be appreciated.
