That's exactly what I need to get.I will look for that for sure.the brass fitting is well worth theoney and extra work than having that cheap plastic on it.

Airstream

Just called Airstream a while ago and it seems that all unit whether the base model to the most largest Airstream uses the standard shurflow city water connect. They told me that I could just purchase one without the regulator on it and then add one myself but I think I will just order the same OEM one that has always been used.I just had been the lucky one to get 2 that messed up.
For all I know I could have tightened it up just enough to put a small hairline crack in it and it finally popped.Who knows.I will have it fixed once it comes in the mail.

Hey Devoman, sorry you are having problems. I had the same thing happen with mine. When you get your new one in, you can test it before you install it. Just buy a threaded end cap, screw it on and hook up the water. If it is bad, it will leak. If no leak, install.
I did a thread on this back last July. If I knew how to insert the link, I would.
Hope all is well out your way. Looks like they'll be another invasion labor day!
Joe

Welcome to the club. We've replaced ours twice in just under three years. Our thinking is that the first one we installed was faulty. So far the second one is holding up. But at least now we know what to look for and have the gadgets to get the job done.
