I do not typically drink from my fresh water tank nor from hook up.
But I do use a Culligan from Spigot, for the most part it is just a sediment filter.
Then it goes to my water softener then into my rig. I did add a brita faucet filter for those occasions I do drink.
I just keep it simple.

Per NIH/CDC, 1/8 tsp per gallon of water, then wait at least 30 minutes before using the water. For my 45 gallon fresh tank, that works out to just under 2 tbsp.
FYI, I have done that. With that much chlorine, the water has a very strong chlorine taste if you don't filter it before drinking. Even half the amount gives an objectionable taste.

It's a similar amount to a typical chlorinated city water supply. As I mentioned earlier in this thread, I have a carbon block directly after my water pump to remove the chlorine.
I build a two filter system similar to TheGreatleys with housings and filters from https://www.rvwaterfilterstore.com/ and mounted them in a plastic tote. Works great and stores all hoses, etc. Cost all in was about $120 vs $275 for the Clear Source system.
