Toilet Leak ???

In our 95 AS 25 the toilet sits on a carpeted riser about 9 inches above the carpeted BR floor. Opposite the toilet is the shower with a sink in between on the outside wall. The carpeted BR floor in front of the riser is wet and continues to be so. The carpeted area around the toilet base on the riser is dry. I have checked the toilet spray and the area under the sink for a possible leak source and do not find any. Is this a toilet seal failure or something else. Any comments would be appreciated.

We don't have the same AS but it sounds similar to where the water was leaking when I had to replace the flush valve. Water leaks from back then runs down around the base and onto the floor in front of the elevated box.

Follow up: After checking again thee is dampness around the front base of the toilet on the riser.

On RV toilets the flush valve is outside the toilet in the back. If there is a leak you can tell by feeling around the valve after a flush.
Replacing the valve is an easy, somewhat unpleasant diy task.
It is much easier if you take the toilet off and onto a bench to do the work. Replace the foam rubber donut and inspect the flange when you do the job.

The fill valve on our toilet had an intermittent leak. For the longest time we thought it was the shower door. I'm not sure why it wasn't leaking constantly, but I just replaced it anyway. As handn said, it is a good time to replace the gasket and maybe buy a spare. Unlike a house toilet the, gasket goes on the toilet, not the flange, before bolting it back down.

A large piece of doubled up aluminum foil can be used to seal off odors from the black tank while you are replacing the valve. Be careful not to over tighten the bolts.

Had he valve replaced in Bozeman, Mt, Now in Clarkson, WA and the valve input still leaks. I have back in the shop this am to try to fix the problem. More later.

Turns out that the Bozeman installer chipped or cracked the washer on the new valve during installation. A new washer solved the problem.

Had slight leak, found it after taking off toilet, nipple used as elbow from toilet to incoming water, installer didn't account for shrinkage or heat as nipple needed to face down and needed more torque to seal, using more teflon tape on the threads and maybe another turn on the fitting stopped the leak. It would have only leaked when water presssure was at max by pump or connected to outside pressure water.
