Standing water in the shower

My 2005 28' Safari with s/o has water not draining. What is a safe way to clean the drain? Snake, chemical, water hose pressure, access to trap? Thanks.

Assuming you have emptied the gray tank, I would try a wet/dry shop vac first.

as Mojo suggested - is your gray tank full? It will back up into the shower.

Never mind! The grey water tank was full and the indicator light was still green. I call that operator error.

... to calibrate your monitor, if you haven't emptied the holding tank.

We've all done it. Part of the learning curve.

That same thing happened to Lucy last night which was not the first time. SuEllyn thought that I had emptied the gray tank, and I thought that she had done it. Lucy's indicator light has been reading 'empty' for a couple of years now.

First trip out, I learned this lesson. That sucker fills-up faster than I expected! By the way, I didn't have the monitor turned on.
