Another culprit is Kleenex facial tissues [or any other brand]. People often think they are light and fluffy, so will dissolve easily, but that is not the case. Ask a plumber about sewer piping clogs, and they are often from facial tissues getting hung up in old waste piping. This form of "paper" is fabricated not to tear when wet. Guessing, Wayne, that your Bounty test will disclose a similar toughness to the paper towel which brags about not falling apart when wet.

Thanks, I had seen that video before but forgot the results!

I therefore sit corrected.

I will buy and water-jar-test some Charmin ultra-soft to verify the recipe hasn’t changed since the video. I despise the brown-fingers TP that passes for RV-safe, and would vastly prefer to use almost anything else.

Haha, brown finger.....

The Scott stuff was mostly dissolved after an hour, at least good enough for the RV tank, so I will switch to it for RV use.
I am also testing Bounty 2ply paper towels and after a hour there is no signs of breaking down. I will let it go longer to if anything happens (at least until I get the evil eye from the other half)
One day later and the bounty towel is still intact. I took it out of the jar wrung it out and used it to clean up a coffee spill on the counter.
It tells me than the bounty towels are great for what they are intended, just dont expect them to dissolve in a black tank
