Replaced leaking pump

We finally discovered the source of our slow water leak - the underside of the front of the Aquajet pump - original pump 13 years old. It was a slow drip right at one of the pump head screws. Water was coming out on floor at wall by shower.

Purchased a Shurflo 4008-101-E65 3.0 Revolution Water Pump ($65), Shurflo 182-200 Pre-Pressurized Accumulator Tank ($42), Shurflo (255-313) 1/2" Twist-On Pipe Strainer ($7), and Shurflo (94-591-01) Pump Silencing Kit ($26), all via Amazon. Removed old pump (10 minutes), and installed replacement system in same area (20 minutes). Used teflon tape on each plumbing connection. All plumbing connections matched. Installed Disconnects (0.25 tab, 16-14) from Home Depot in DC lines to pump.

Have no leaks. New pump system is very quiet. Pleased with water flow rate (old 3.5 gpm, new 3.0 gpm). Simple project, great results, good prices.
