replace water drain valve

My old water drain valve is shot. Where is best place to get a new one? Is there something I can replace it with that is EASIER to use? Anything complicated about installation other than some sealant and a couple screws? Thanks.

I used Pex, and thought it was very easy to use. See my thread for pictures.

Well, I don't know what vintage you have, so I can only tell you what I did with my frozen valve: Replace it with a more modern one that i got at the hardware store. I had to sweat soldered it in, first time I had ever done that. That required pulling the water assemlbly off of the tank. What is your configuration? Can you take a picture?

Water drain valve replacement 1988 Excella 1000 29'

Okay, let me be more clear. I want to replace the small plastic (nylon) drain valve that is between the wheels on the roadside of my trailer. It drains my freshwater tank. It has always been an annoyance and now it is about to break. I need advice from someone who has perhaps done this little job. And it would be of great assistance if someone could point me toward a supplier. Thanks much.
The trailer is a 29' 1988 Excella 1000.
