yeah, that's what I was planning, actually. just not as easy as opening a drain valve, I guess. and easy to forget.

Try the SeaTech PEX Connectors. They are a little more expensive, but you don't have to get a wrench in to tighten them up. They are very easy to work with. I went throught this same copper/PEX issue a while back.

Go PEX-Go SeaTech. Life will be easier.
