Thumbs up PEX conversion from the old copper tubing

Well my old 77 Solverign had beautiful copper plumbing. But numerous freezing and age had taken its toll on it. Copper is difficult to repair. I was so impressed with PEX tubing. The PEX slip fittings amazingly did not leak a drop. The conversion was easy as theorize diameter of the copper and PEX was the same. Thus the slip fitting could be used to connect copper to PEX directly. Wonderful. It's lighter than copper much more flexible and more freeze tolerant. It is expensive but then what quality thing isn't.
