Oops i pulled the seal out of my thetford black waste valve. Help.

Hey all. I have 1974 international rear bath. The black waste valve was not closing all the way and leaking. So we decided to fish around with a wire and see if we could remove whatever was blocking the blade from closing all the way... and the seal came out. So now the valve handle works great, but it still leaks a bit because the seal came out with the coat hanger. Any suggestions on the easiest way to fix this? Please don't start with remove the belly pan...

TIA

You could add another valve.
Twist-on Valve - Valterra T58 - Sewer Fittings & Adapters - Camping World
For me that would only be a temporary solution though.

If you can get the valve body apart you can replace the seal. I have a third valve on the hose outlet that I am using till I get a chance to fix my old ones.

You don't have to remove the belly pan, just the last row of rivets where the metal under the bumper and belly pan meet. Then the bumper, and a few other covers where the drain pipe enters the tank compartments. Then you can remove the 4 large screws to get the valve off and repair or replace. I could not find a rebuild kit for my stainless thetford valve, so I had to buy a new all plastic one.

Thanks. I've had it off to repair the grey tank. But have attached and caulked to make it mouse proof so didn't really want to touch it. Thanks for the tips.
