No water pressure - kitchen sink

Cleaned faucet filter - no pressure even with no filter. Where could the blockage be?

Try the faucet aerator.

Where I said “filter” read “aerator” - even with no “aerator” there is no pressure.

Is it a pull-out spray handle faucet? Mine is. It gets a kink in the hose when seated causing low pressure. Pulling it out a couple of inches corrects the problem.

I have been having a similar problem with Lucy. The kitchen sink water pressure is poor on the cold side. The hot water seems to have better pressure. There is an in-line water filter under the sink. I have removed it and put the direct line in. That does not seem to make any difference. The water pressure in the bathroom and shower are just fine. This situation is the same whether she is on city water or the pump.

Possibly a clogged or damaged cartridge in the faucet. Try removing the cartridge, cleaning and lubricating it and putting it back if it inspects as good. Al else fails, a new one is far less irritating

Are you on City water or pumped from the tank? Makes a difference in where we (the forum) looks for a solution.

Thanks so much for your note - this got me going in the right direction - it’s a swivel faucet with a pull-out sprayer that I never use. But this made me try checking the pressure on the sprayer, and it’s fine - so the problem must be in the faucet itself - then another helpful member suggested cleaning the cartridge in the faucet, and that was the ticket. What a terrific forum. Thanks, All!
