Smile No clue how to install under sink water filter

Totally am a newbie. Can anyone tell me how to install the under sink water filter? It was in the goodies box when I purchased, but there's nothing in the manual on it. Thanks!!!!

Personally I'd save yourself the trouble of having one under the sink and just install a good quality filter at the spigot outside.

Might not need to, maybe a spare? Only to be changed once the flow is too slow.
If they are still using the same filter, you turn the base ccw and top cw. only takes less than 1/8 of a turn to get it to release.

The filter will go under the sink in the cold water line. If you look, you will see a piece of PEX about a foot long, hung from the side of the cabinet with two black curved mounts. Remove that pipe by unscrewing the 1/@" female pipe thread fittings from it, and pull it out of where it is. Put the filer in place, after putting the two fitting adapters on it, one at each end. You WILL need to use teflon tape on the threaded piece that screws into the filter. Once you're done that, and made sure they are tight, install the filter assembly in the spot the pipe formerly was in, making sure the little "direction of flow" arrows are pointing toward you. The filter will probably not hang from both of the little brackets, one will be enough to keep it from causing trouble.
