Newbie! Biolet question

Hello streamers!! My husband and I were trying to sell our second car and ended up trading it for a 31 ft 1973 sovereign land yacht. So now we are part of the club! It has good bones, and we just finished tearing out the kitchen and the hall closet so we are down to the bathroom and that's pretty much it.

My question is, I just scored a brand new never used Biolet 33 composting toilet from Habitat ReStore for $50 (retails for over $1000 from what I understand). Would you replace the stock toilet in the airstream with the Biolet (seems to be fine from what I can tell, just old and needs repainted), or would you save it for a cabin? We have property in rural almost coastal maine and are planning to build in the next year or so. Property has no utilities but we have a spring and a stream so would have a water supply though compost toilet would be good since it's off grid. ( plan is to live in the airstream while building the cabin next summer, currently located in Atlanta area).

I am torn as to whether we should just put it in the airstream since we plan to use it a lot over the next few years or if the toilets that are currently in there are the better choice/ total pain to remove. Thanks for your advice!!

Hello Tumbleweedz and welcome to the forum. Congratulations on getting the AS, sounds like an adventure to me

There is a long thread here on composting toilets. Check this out and see if you find your answer in here. Good luck!
