Moving Toilet Back for More Space

I have a 2006 28' Safari Slide-Out and the Thetford toilet is so far forward from the back wall that there is not any room from the sink cabinet for your knees. If I had just 1 1/2- 2" more spacing it would be fine. Really is a bad design!

The present toilet is 5" from the back wall so if I could find a toilet that sits back a little or possibly a riser with an offset?

My present plan is to either build a riser with an offset or to buy a standard Thetford 2 1/2" riser and modify it.

Any good ideas at all how to do this or what to do would really be appreciated.

Your idea of a riser and offset probably would be the easiest plan to follow. Just don't make any really hard to change back moves, in case it does not work out as you hope.
