Moen faucet won't shut off all the way

I have a 73 land yacht and the faucet in the bath tub will not shut off all the way. It runs just a little bit. Can this be fixed or will Moen replace the faucet. Doens't Moen have a lifetime warranty? Thanks

Worn out washer or crud (metal corrosion, sand, etc.) in the joint. Take it apart and clean it, replace washer. Should work like new.

Moen does have a lifetime/limited warranty, but it only applies to the original purchaser as long as he owns the residents. If you have the original sales receipt you might be in luck. You can call them at 1-800-289-6636 for more information.

If you can't get them to send you one I got my replacement cartridge from edit for less than $25 at depot. There is also a you tube video that walks you thru it. Pretty simple and worth it not to hear a drip.

My kitchen Moen had that problem too but like Foiled Again replied also it was a piece of gunk or sand that came through the system. I cleaned it and it works fine. I also bought a water filter.
