low point drain leaking at valve

How hard is it to replace the low point drain valves?
One of mine is leaking.
It looks fairly straightforward if I can source an identical valve.
Does the valve have to be the same?
Is there a more durable valve available?

I guess no one has this problem.
I can't find the brass ball valves with red levers anywhere.
Not even sure what it is connected to.
Looks like the valve goes to a brass elbow which has a brass nut on it.
Can't see any PEX tubing.
Scratching my head on this one, too.

It seems Airstream has used a variety of valves over the years. The ones from my kitchen are brass petcocks just like on older cars radiators. They look difficult to replace. The cold side for my bathroom is just a piece of hose hanging out under the trailer. The valve is a turn valve under a bed. It is easy to get to and would be easy to replace.....if my kitchen petcocks ever give me trouble, I may look into putting in line valves under the kitchen sink.

Local dealer?
I live 4 hours from one dealer and 5 hours from another...

It may just need tightening or removed, wrapped with Teflon tape, and replaced.

I had a leak on mine ... 2015 Bambi Sport 16'. Took it to the dealer and was fixed within an hour - so it can't be too difficult. The old valves hung straight down and the new ones are bent 90 degrees, so the water shoots out sidewards rather than straight down. I like it better because there is more clearance bent as it is. If the dealer is too far away you could call them for the part name/number and then order and install it yourself. (or get a local RV repair person do it)

I also wrapped it with PVC foam padding to protect it from road debris to avoid it happening again.

I called Airstream.
The lady didn't know, but was supposed to find out and email me a part number.
So far she hasn't emailed me.
