Leaking Kitchen Faucet
Hi Everyone
This is my first post. Purchased a 2018 AS Globetrotter in the Spring and have spent about 3 months in it. During my last adventure along the lovely country road called I5 my kitchen faucet turned on from the AS being bounced along the highway. First two times was not a huge problem a little water on the counter top. 3rd time was a charm, after a long day of traveling the faucet had done its usual thing but this time I had forgotten to turn off the water pump. Had about 4 gallons of water all over the kitchen. Took some time to clean up and was very happy until I opened the kitchen drawers. The water had made the bottom of the drawers bubble like they had developed teenage acne. Now I'm ok with the facet kicking in but the damage to the drawers is not what I expected from my new AS. Im also starting to notice that the kitchen sink is too heavy for the amount of support and it is starting to sag on the right side. Going to have the sink fixed at the next visit to AS but not sure what they will do with the drawer bottoms.

Update...
Howdy Tinman, -Ran across You March ‘Leaking Kitchen Faucet’ Post and was looking for an update.
Water and trailers are never a good combination. So you drawer bottom issue has peaked my curious nature... how did this end up?

Hey do you know where on your faucet the leak is occurring? Mine which is a single handle has started leaking where the handle meets the base plate. I'm not sure how to fix it but haven't put a lot of time into it yet. I have to run all the water out of the faucet after turning off the water pump.

Why would you not expect water to damage wooden cabinetry?

Guess I figured they would be the same as all the other cabinets I have in my bathrooms or kitchens that have been Splashed with water. If I put a wet fork in my kitchen drawers at home and they bubbled I would be getting the cabinet maker to come back and repair them.

Leaking faucet
We have the same problem in our 2019 Globetrotter. We just purchased it and on our way home we noticed that the faucet had leaked and there was water in the sink and in the drawer underneath the sink. The bottom of the drawer had blistered. The faucet handle isn't tight enough and during our travels, it drops down and water that is left in the pipes comes out. I am afraid that one day we will also forget to turn off the pump and have a real mess. I would like to know if you got your faucet problem resolved so that we know what we should do.

If your faucet is a Moen, they are very responsive to repairing or replacing parts. They have a lifetime guarantee and just send out the parts to you once determining what the problem is. It's awesome! Their help line is 800-289-6636 or you can go to their website.

Was it the faucet or the drain that leaked on your GT?

Leaking faucet
Both were leaking. The faucet’s handle had fallen down and so the water left in the line had leaked out. Usually I turn on the faucet after I turn off the pump to release the pressure in the line but I had forgotten to do that. Also, my husband checked the drain pipe and the connection was loose so he tightened it. The pipes do not seem to be leaking anymore since my husband tightened the connection. We’ve noticed that each time we go anywhere, the faucet handle drops and a small amount of water leaks out. We are going to try to put a rubber band around the handle and faucet to keep it from falling down as we travel. It seems that there should be a better way to solve this problem. I’m just hoping that we never forget to turn off the pump while traveling. We had a Flying Cloud before we bought our Globetrotter and this didn’t seem to be an issue.
