Isolating pump - Are pre-built braided lines too restrictive to flow?

Hey all. I am finishing up the pex transition and would like to know if the normal hoses at home depot are adequate for our purposes. Since the hose is roughly 1/3 - 1/4 the ID of the 1/2" pex I thought I'd ask.

You'll keep pressure but lose lots of volume using these lines. They are made for single fixture point of use connections.

If you are talking about the pre made up ones, with SS braided outside, they are not large enough. If you are talking about the vinyl tubing you can get at HD, with an interenal reinforcing braid, that is what you want. You will need a transition fitting to go from the vinyl to the pex of course.
