Hot water bypass moved!

I have a 2015 28' International.

I was looking for the hot water bypass on my first outing after winter, which the owners manual said is in the compartment under the wardrobe closet. It is NOT!

Imagine my surprise when I found out that it had moved itself to underneath the L shaped couch and can be seen and accessed through a hole in the seat under the cushion. Coincidentally right at the back of the water heater.

Pesky valves just won't stay where the factory put them!

Did you notice any warning signs that the water heater was unhappy with it's assigned location?
Was it morose or withdrawn? Perhaps crush a few Xanax and add them to it's morning coffee.
