Greywater tank and thetford valve replacement

I am new to this My 72 Trade wind dump valve is cracked and destroyed can I replace it with any other brand like valterra and there was a tee after the valve where can I buy that from. I would like to add grey tank. How big, and where can I add this. can it be done from under the trailer, do I have to remove floor and install from top. Any ideas suggestions and

If your tradewind is anything like my 74 overlander, you have a white thetford dump valve that attaches directly to the tank. You'll need to identify exactly what you have, but I was able to get a new one at vintagetrailersupply.com. The tee is probably just a 3" ABS tee, which can be found at a big box hardware store if you are in an area where ABS is allowed by code. Otherwise, VTS carries those too.

Adding gray storage is a bigger project, but most of the work is in the belly pan. You will need to route a vent through the coach and tie it in to an existing vent somewhere. I'm in the middle of doing this on my overlander. Look at my blog in the signature and you can see how I mounted the extra gray storage. Click on parts in the upper right for a list of parts I used.
