Grey Water Tank??

I have 1972 Land Yacht Trade Wind, 25 or 27'. When I run the sink water comes out the discharge hook up tube in the back? I have been told that Airstreams this old do not have grey tanks, and that I need a tote. but I have also heard of trailers with two tanks. How do I find out if I have an auxilary tank with a leak, or just no auxilary tank. Thanks.

A 72 Trade Wind (25') did not have a factory installed grey tank. The water running out is normal. If you had a grey tank, you would have 2 valve handles to pull. My 75 does have a small grey tank. The black tank handle is in the rear bumper area and the grey handle is next to the discharge connection on the side.

A grey tank can be added, but a tote would be easier (and cheaper).

If you're up to it, you can also modify your waste plumbing to include a "T" fitting, with a valve, to divert the grey water into your black tank. You would use the black vent pipe coming out of the top of the tank.
