Great source for shower, macerator and holding tanks.

I have recently been collecting parts for another major push on the remodeling of my 1973 31' Airstream. I wanted to share where I got some great buys for others that are interested in similar products. First let me say that you need to consider to the total price including shipping costs before you make up your mind to buy. I bought products from particular suppliers because the total price was lower even though the item price was higher. Some of the vendors need to pay more attention to their shipping charges I think. Here are some deals I found:

RV Parts , RV Accessories, RV Supply

A step tub/shower that will fit in the original location. It is item number 884145. I see that the price has gone up slightly since I bought it but I paid only $104.84 plus only $16.14 for shipping. Other vendors told me this same item was too big to ship by UPS and wanted to charge about $50 for shipping. It took only a couple of days to get it and the item looks great.

Discount Marine and Boat Supplies - Inflatable Sales - Defender

I bought a Jabsco model 18590-2092 Self-Priming Macerator Pump for a total cost of $136.64. The shipping charge was only $10.65 of that price.

I found what I thought was an especially good buy on two ABS holding tanks at $151 each with free shipment. The items were in stock and arrived in less than 1 week. The tanks are model HT708-ED 32 Gallon 24.5" x 57" x 7" ABS holding tank - no fittings. They look like they will fit just fine in the areas where I want to put them.

Shop around and see what you think...

Only he who attempts the ridiculous can achieve the impossble.
