city inlet & 30 amp location
Hi I was just seeing if placing my 30 amp and city water inlet located with the red boxes in attached pic a good location. The original city water inlet was all corroded and came off my bumper near the black water dump valve and my 30 amp line end was cut off. So I've decided to mount them flush with the two items in the pic, furrion 30 amp stainless and shurflo water inlet. Anyone see a problem with the locations marked in red?

I put my water inlet and 2 30 amp inlets mid ship the rebuilding my Tradewind.
Most of the time camp sites have the utilities mid way in the site.
Ive been in sites that had the sewer at the front of the site with the power at the rear or visa versa . So mid ship works better .

As long as you don't mind the height of those locations. The hanging cord and hose will place a lot of weight upon the fixtures.

Answer to Location of Shore Docking
Rear or Mid-Ship is one with all Shore Docking Utilities. Your photo shows inlets at a very high location??? Closest to the floor level is always best.

I put my Furrion 30amp inlet where you have the red box, close to the breaker box. I put the city water on the curb side just forward of the fuse panel access door, which is also below the twin bed. That way I can get to it for repairs.
Your city water location looks like it would be hard to get to but I guess it depends on the model trailer you have.

You may want to go mid -ship so you can always keep an eye on your incoming WATER. Like under the kitchen sink area. That back part of the trailer is a PAIN in the A** to get to should something go wrong. ( And it will )
I put my power up a few inches higher than the water in case of leaks.

Where you show them is just fine. There is no practiced standard in campgrounds, but water and ac are usually on the driver's side. Many Airstreams have them where you propose. I would hope that you will have reasonably easy access to them on the inside for future repairs, etc. I know you're dealing with the space behind the water heater and have limited space between it and the curve, but I would try to space them apart as much as workable. Good looking trailer!

I'd keep them on the flatter side section versus the rear curved section. Helps with mounting flatter to surface, better sealing from leaks. If you separate them some you'll have an easier time running wire and pipe inside.
I used the same inlets on my '79

I've never been in a full service cg that didn't have all the services, water, sewer, electric on the road or drivers side.

I'd say if you had the city inlet above the water heater, the residual heat would help keep it thawed if you plan to use in colder weather. But not sure. Just a thought.
