Before I discovered PEX and crimp fittings I used the sharkbite fittings on PVC to redo my broken water entry fitting. Its been fine for 8 years and a trip to Alaska.

Yes exactly... crimps are very cheap and easy.. push togethers are expensive but very practical in tight places.

so hubby is thinking sharkbite push on fittings for ease of use in small cramped places. we dont have to worry to much about that memory issue since we have an identical argosy 73' sittiing in the back yard, well that and i took a TON of pictures!

I redid the plumbing in our 71 Sovereign... wasn't too bad... used all crimp rings...was tons cheaper than push on connectors...
