Blackwater tank flush leak
On a recent trip to Yellowstone, upon leaving and at the dump station , I hooked up to my blackwater tank flush fitting and when I applied water had a major leak coming from under the shower onto the floor of the trailer. Anyone had this problem, tried removing the screws from the exterior fitting and it will only pull out about 1/2 inch , no slack available. I have a 2010 Flying Cloud 27 ft.

Inside the trailer in close proximity to the inlet is a vacuum breaker type backflow devise They can and do fail. Sometimes they can stick from spiders nesting inside causing them to leak

Mine just failed. Noticed a small seeping infrequent leak in a wheel well seam in front of the left tire. I looked around and didn’t notice anything obvious. Airstream service found it and replaced.

Mine did the same thing first time I used it, I have interstate. Took it to AS in Jackson and something plastic was cracked and they replaced it. On mine, he had to get under fridge through grate to get to source. I went there because I already had appointment for other issues.

If it’s a 27FB, the access to the problem should be in the back-bottom of the closet as I recall. There is a step looking piece held by 4 screws.

I have had several fail. When I get a chance I'm just going to cut it out.

rickmc1219..... I had the same problem with my 2007 25' FB Safari. The valve on mine is located behind a panel in the closet. Attached are some pictures.

Sometimes the black flush water pressure can blow up around the foam rubber toilet to flange seal. Most seals last about 10 years, so if you haven't replaced that I would do so ASAP.
