Black Tank Spray Not Working (2002 25ft Classic)

Just purchased the AS and when I dump the black tank and follow up with attempting to spray nothing. It seems like the water just won't make its way thru the system to the spray head. Valve problem? clogged spray problem?

Had the same problem on my 2006 Classic. The problem is the spray nozzle openings are so small (think the size of a #2 pencil lead) that they log up very easily. Jackson Center will tell you to dump your tank and flush with water from toilet then drop several packets of tank cleaner in and fill holding tank with water and let sit for a couple of days. This did not work for me. Ended up taking it to JC and they removed spray head and drilled out holes.
The trick is always clean out tank before leaving campsite or it is subject to clogging.

You might be able to have some luck unclogging the spray heads by mixing up 4 parts water and 1 part Liquid Calgon And one part dawn detergent and putting it down the spray connection. Use a funnel or recycler any largish plastic bottle with a squeeze head... catsup, shampoo, dish detergent, etc.
Let it sit for a day or two and then try it again.

Same issue on my 2008 Classic 25fb. I had the nozzle replaced. Make sure you run the water through your hose before connecting to flush out any rust or debris.

I had the misfortune of hooking up with a hose that was dropped in sand and dirty then assumed nozzles got clogged from the debris.

Mine didn't work. While replacing the dump valves I pulled the nozzle, soaked it in bleach, drilled out the holes put it all back in and it still didn't work. Since cleaning out the holes in the nozzle I now get tank odor in the bathroom when the AC is running. I now suspect the vacuum breaker valve under the sink. I have seen posts where the vacuum breaker was replaced with an elbow and a separate vacuum breaker was installed on the flush line input. That project goes to the bottom of my to do list.

After sitting, apply steady 35 psi air pressure.

You could MacGyver a similar fitting, I use this to clear the water heater.
