Aqua Magic V in '64 TW ~ Help!

Hi All,

After reading various threads on here, taking some measurements and looking at some pictures I thought the Thetford Aqua Magic V would fit in the rear bath/tub configuration of my 64 Tradewind, but I'm having trouble. After demolishing the old porcelain bowl (not original) and riser (I *think* was original) I discovered a few problems:

1. The toilet fits in the hole of the fiberglass bench, but there is a PVC drain line (from the sink) that runs the width of the trailer that is in the way. Since the old toilet was slimmer at the base, it cleared this pipe without problems.

2. The hole in the bottom of the toilet doesnt match up with the hole in the black water tank!

Can anyone tell me what modifications, if any, can be made to get the Aqua Magic V to fit? OR Does anyone know of another toilet that would fit my trailer?

The holding tank can be replaced with a fiberglass tank, where you can install the floor flange for the toilet wherever you wish it to be.

Thanks Andy. I would rather replace the toilet rather than the whole black water tank since its not leaking or anything. Plus I have no idea where to get a new black water tank for my trailer.

Turns out I was wrong, the black water tank is shot...guess that solves the problem with the toilet!
