Your coach evidently has the original metal dump valve. Those valves have been obsolete for many years and the necessary adapters are virtually unavailable. The only source will be on the used market. The adapters are aluminum or pot metal and I am not aware of any modern plastic parts that will work with the metal valve. Most of us with coaches that came from the factory with the metal valves have replaced them with modern Thetford hardwared. My Airstream dealer handled the process for me as it required cutting the original metal valve out and fiberglassing a new Thetford valve into the tank. Members on the list who have rebuilt their metal valves have either had the adapter parts that were included with the coach or they located original parts via web-based classifieds.

Good luck with your investigation!

Kevin

The bronze dump valves and aluminum drain fittings haven't been available for many years, may find someone who has some old ones, otherwise it's a conversion to the newer style Thetford fittings.

Smile Another Thank You

I took the fittings I orderd, bought some good glue, glued it and put it in backword. I think it will hold tell I can take it all out and replace the old valve with the newer type. Thanks again for all the info.
