1975 Argosy Shower tub removal

Merry Christmas everyone!

Santa was extra nice this year and brought me some sweet new toys from Makita ! Since it was 65 here today, I decided to try out my new gifts and make some more progress on the Demo of our 1975 Argosy 26' .

I've removed pretty much all the interior furniture, partitions and appliances with the exception of the tub and toilet. My question to the forum members is, do I need to drop the pan in order to disconnect the shower tub? At this point, I'm pretty sure the drain is the only thing holding the tub down.

Here are a few photos of my progress:

I'm having déjà vu !
You are correct. You need to drop the pan to disconnect the P-trap.
I basically did a frame off on my original 26' Argosy, redesigned the under built frame and installed a full set of large holding tanks. It worked out really well.
Feel free to pm me if you have any other Argosy questions. I have lots of pics.
Merry Christmas !

Thanks wzelkins !

I was planning on dropping the pan anyway to inspect the frame. Not looking forward to the nasty mess that's probably under there, but it has to be done either way.

I just dropped the pan on my 1976 28' center bath Argosy, pulled out the old grey tank that the rats had taken care of. I have the 28 gutted, and will install new tanks. All I am finding are 7 to 8 inch high tanks, think they will go near the axels for new black and grey. Anyone that has done this, insights are appreciated. I have the picture of the old tank, just as a reference. Pictures of my 22' and 28' can be found here: http://myweb.csuchico.edu/~twilder/Argosy

I installed a 25gal blk, a 60gal grey and a 50gal water tank on my 26' Argosy rear bath. I modeled it after some of the 80's and 90's units with large tanks. It obviously required a lot of mods to the under built Argosy frame. We camp State Parks which don't have sewer hookups hence my reason for doing this. If I upgrade the battery supply, we'll be ready for serious boondocking.
Feel free to pm me if you want more info on my tank upgrades.
