I'm going to trailer the 21' globetrotter home this weekend. I replaced the bearings, races and repacked the bearings. Also I had new tires put on the trailer. I have a question about the original trailer running lights, what bulbs are in the tail lights? I'd like to buy some extra bulbs.
The stablizers are down in the front and I don't know if they will go back up. Also there are windows open and the antenna is still up. The plan is WD-40 and brake cleaner! I'm making a list of things to bring, I need to ask for your list items that might help?

Any and all advise woulld be appreciated.

BULBS turn & tail 1157 -back up 1156 can`t remember the # for clearance lights,also most of interior 12v lights will use 1156. Dave

We had a long journey today 155 miles with no problems. The bearings never heated up on us. We stopped every thirty miles or so to check the heat on the hubs, they never go really hot. Now this project has to go on the back burner for some time... I'm glad its on my property! In case your were wondering the brakes were disabled. I drove 55 - 60 miles an hour the whole way home. I also had a follow car with his hazards on the whole way home. I will post pics soon...

Congrats on a safe trip home. That first time is fraught with worry ... there are so many things that CAN go wrong that if none do, you just wait for the shoe to drop. Obviously with the bearings and tires, you took care of some of the most likely failure modes / issues in advance. Not sure I'd have wanted to tow with no brakes, but you made it! Keep everyone informed of progress.

Congratulations on a safe trip. Just curious, did you tow with the Honda or did you borrow a bigger truck?

I used my neighbors 1993 dodge 2500 turbo diesel. It cost me a large bottle of Jack and one tank of diesel. I plan on buying more Jack as time goes on.
