Restored '65 GT for me.
Now that I have sold my 56 Caravanner, it is only fair to show everyone what I sold it for.
A RESTORED 1965 Globetrotter.
I know it isn't 13 panels, but I will get over that aspect quickly considering how well this trailer was done.
Enjoy,
Steve

That looks great!
Was this a Winnick project too?

DEFINATELY NOT!
This was done by another restoration genius in Texas named Eric Stoltz. I toured this trailer before I bought the Caravanner, but it wasn't done when I toured it.
Now completed, I had to have it...it is too nice!

It's beautiful! I love the overhead shelf in the kitchen. I wish you many happy nights camping in this one!

Nice looking trailer Steve. You are one committed Airstreamer. From the look of this one, and the knowledge you've gained on your past adventures, you should be one happy guy.

Wired for sound
There isn't a radio in the trailer, but the shop did install a new antenna and 12V into the endcap shelves so one could be.
I like the look of things being even, so I guess putting speakers in the fronts of those sheleves may not look great. Would rather not mount them in the bottom pointing down either.
A quick Cut n paste of a face place is what I have done here.
Anyone have any ideas?

It is the same in this picture, but partially covered by the pillow. I think they might have made the mattress to short on that side, or it is pushed too far as you have said.

Suicide door latch
I did not know you bought another coach when I read and answered your PM. I looked at your pictures (VERY nice coach!) but you did not show a good view of the door and access handle. If it looks like mine then the 'latch' I made will work. The concept 'latch' will work on most suicide doors but will need to be made to fit the handle style. Let me know if you need another 'latch'.
