I called this lady shortly after seeing the post. This trailer was all original other than the new foam and upholstery. She has had it 20 years and used it 4 times. No floor or frame issues were addressed (Of course this one doesn't leak or have any issues).
I told her that I bought my Caravanner that had $34,000 into if for only $1,000 more, and it was a total rebuild. She has had 2 callers, and one person stopped by. She isn't budging on price.
At that price she might have to sit on it awhile. I don't think any caravels have gone quite that high, without being a full resto-modernized piece of art, like winnick or VV, and those go for a lot more.
It still might be worth going to look at. She might not be willing to budge over the phone, but if you had a look at it and found some problems, or found it was really nice, negotiating in person might have better luck. I have found I get yanked around by a lot of goofballs while trying to sell my car on CL, I've gotten to the point where if they can't be bothered to come out, I don't want to deal with them.
