December update on 1968 GT Restoration

I am down to finishing a few gas hook-ups and step trim work and a few lower panels by the new axle and she is finished and ready to polish. Its been awhile so I thought I would post some photos. The black water tank box was installed and reinforced with steel straps. I had to cutom fit the lower panels to it since its improved from the original. The step now has a catch/lock mechanism spring loaded so I can use a pull down handle to unlock it. Alot safer this way. The front and rear windows and metal trim are all done along with all fresh weatherstrips for all the glass. I took folks advice and installed a Progressive surge protector, mounter on a steel bracket, along with a battery shut-off switch to save battery drain on storage. I also finally matched the factory paint and finished my emblem.
Happy Holidays to all the fine Airstreamers. Hope to see you on the road soon!
