Ď65 GT, Gaucho help needed.

There should be a removable wooden back panel on the Gaucho which is secured with two metal clips.

Could anyone give me the dimensions of the wooden panel?

I also need the clips if anyone has some.

Thanks as always.

Does it attach to the gaucho or the wall when its in the couch position? I believe I still have it in the shop, but I doubt if the shape is identical to yours (the curve to match the wall). I'll try to get a photo tomorrow with the clips on the back. If that's what your after your welcome to the clips. Gaucho was too far gone to reuse. Don't recall if I have the other clip pieces that attached to the wall.

Getting ready to leave for a rally on Wednesday, so if I forget to get back to you PM me after 6/11.

Thatís fantastic, thank you for you quick reply.

The wooden part is just a flat piece of ply, that runs from the seat framing of the gaucho to a piece of wood that is fixed higher up to the body (the top of the back of the gaucho) and forms the back rest.

In the ďSofaĒ configuration the ply slants to form the back rest, but when the gaucho is extended it fills in the gap.

Without the actual piece of ply, I canít figure out exactly (and accurately) where it runs from and to. The length is simple because it has to fit between the wall at the bathroom end of the trailer and a second vertical plate of wood next to the furnace.

One half of the clip is screwed to the top of the gaucho (I have that piece) and the other half is screwed to the loose ply sheet, Itís the other half that Iím missing.

Iíll get some photos tonight and post as well.

Thank you for your assistance, just let me know what you need for the clips.

I looked for the piece I described and could not find it. I suspect mine is quite different from yours as my gaucho is at the front of the trailer (rear bath). I have the slot pieces, that on mine attach to the front shelf under the window.

If that helps I'll send them to you. PM me an address and I'll see what the cost is.

Sorry, hit the wrong button. There are 'ears' on the back cushion that go in the slots to hold it in place. In the photo the bottom cushions are off so the back cushion is lower than normal.

Thanks for looking, sounds like we are a way off where I need to be. Still, thanks again, I appreciate you looking.
