The first thing I want to do is fix the hitch and tongue. Next would be electrical and wheels/tires. Guidance on RV repair experience. People you may have dealt with.

Thank you!
LOVE IT!!!

The waiting waiting waiting. Frame still at sandblaster. Then welding takes about forty hours he says.

I hate not doing anything. May have to start sanding and prepping the interior skins. Or polish window frames this weekend. Go Seahawks!

Did you have a lot of outriggers and crossmembers to replace on your frame?
If you have to clean the wall panels and they are the vinyl "wallpaper" coated type that mine are, the best stuff to clean them with that I found was Marine Clean. That stuff is awesome. Diluted 1 part MC to 2 parts water it was able to clean the filthy area the was behind the refrigerator vent scoop. It now looks brand new with very little elbow grease .
It's great to see another woman tackling one of these silver dreams. I am enjoying your thread. It's nice to see someone getting things done while I wait in the frozen north for Spring to get mine started again.

Dingo dear lady, thank you thank you! There was rot on the floor but no cross member issues. The frame is being reinforced and fitted for my slim grey water tank. The experience is a one of a kind indeed.

Does your doggy chase these seahawks around? Barking at them will make them go!

I think you should clean up window frames while you are watching the seahawks go. These is no rest for Airstream renovators! I continue to spend hours and hours standing behind my polisher getting covered in black dust. It's such a boring job! I've got 25 hours in it already and many, many more hours to go.

As you progress with your GT things you may want to consider, I ran water proof LED strip lights with a remote under the trailer and LED inside our cabinets and wow what a difference, call me crazy I also added LED in the medicine cabinet in the bath.

Trailer back. Welding starting. Removing steel at tongue. There was no drain at the tongue and water could seep in of course. The inside was incredibly thin at a each Y section where water pooled. Happens all time apparently on old tongues.

Welding is an acquired skill. Just takes quite a bit of practice to get the metal to flow the way you want it too. But I'm sure you can learn. The frame looks much better now than before. Sand blasting saved you a bunch of time wire brushing and a better result. Fix the weak spots and you're starting the rebuild!

I hear the seahawks did in fact go and are now heading to the big bowl or something like that.

Just be careful. Old-style arc welding is how I got some scars a bit close to certain tender bits.

Safety first, and make sure your welding tools are in good repair. Insulated handle slid off the stinger when I was trying to free a stuck rod. Rod got red hot, then broke loose and hit me end first in the thigh. Note: A) flesh sizzles like awful, and B) an open circuit welder will shock the heck out of you. I should have been wearing a heavy apron. Nuff said.

Modern wire-welding hardware is much easier to use, but you still gotta wear all the safety gear. ☺️

Thumbelina, here's a link to a thread I was fortunate enough to receive today from a member about fixing up and installing windows...thought you might like to see what she did as I see you are getting ready to work on your windows too. I Am so enjoying watching your progress. It's like gazing into the looking glass for me.

'65 GT 20' my winter project

LED is a must do Indy!
I pulled the rest of the left over wire out today. We are bare metal.

The welder Matt managed to accomplish a few things in four hours of work today on the frame. Thank you Airstream Angel for the Millermatic 251 and the auto lift
