I thought I would post a couple pictures of my 1969 Globetrotter from my vacation trip last October.

Great shot - where did you camp? Was it the same place that beautiful Fall picture was taken you posted a while back?

I guess a lot of people are now dreaming of when their next trip will be .....Spring! it will be here before you know it. (We hope)

Thanks. The campspot you are asking about is in the San Isabel Nat Forest in Southern Colorado. The fall colors camp spot is in the mountains above Santa Fe, New Mexico. Here's another from the same N. M. spot:

Last week we had a little dusting and since then we have had sleat and rain. Boy if the rain was snow we would be burried in the stuff by now.

This is the closest we got to a camping spot our first year! It will be neat when we run an electric outlet to that spot - then we can say we went camping without leaving the driveway.

She is a bit cold now - and the airconditioner drip pan is finally frozen. (is this bad) we took the drip hose off because it was so grimmy and filled with black mold - but never got around to putting a new one on - so we have had a few drips land on the floor. Must get to that one day - run a line in and heat her up for a bit.

The other thing I wish we got to was removing the silycon around the little windows - in the winter that stuff shrinks and leaks - now I have to keep an eye on it for leaking all the time!!

Okay so how do you get your photos to come into this program almost full size??? I reduce mine to 72dpi and then adjust the picture size to 5X4 but they come in like little biddy things with thumb nails so you have to click on them???

I store my pictures on Shutterfly.com(for free). I right click on the image, go to properties and copy the url and paste it into the image link on this sight.

I have to agree that you have a nice rock guard. Where might I get one. Given the prices of replacement windows, I think a rock guard is a must. I have two small circlar mounts that appear to be where a rock guard once was. I would love to find something compatable.

Didgiman, You can still get the correct rock guard from the factory for your year and model thru your closest A/S dealer. They still have stock parts for 1969 and newer trailers in Jackson Center....Wish that were true for the 1967 models. Just call Ohio factory parts if a dealer is not close to you. I think you may have to have them shipped / and paid through a dealer though! I hope this helps you. Ed

Just wondering why there is no listing for a 1970 year Globetrotter?
Mine is listed as 4-1970 as the manufacture date. It looks just like the ones in these pictures here.

Does your 70GT have a front gaucho or dinette? I've seen them with the gauchos, but never the dinette (like the '69). I prefer the bathroom layout of the '70 with the sink outside the toilet/shower area, but I like the dinette concept of the '69 models that I've seen.
