1965 20' Globetrotter Shower Curtain

Hi!

I just picked up my brand new '65 this week and the projects begin!

I've got a dizzying array of snaps on the toilet side and an empty track above the center stall shower. No curtain anywhere!

I'm hoping someone can identify all of those snaps and point me in the direction of a curtain or a pattern and whatever tiny little slides go in that track. Thanks!

Congrats on the 65GT..
I have a 64GT, which, in my spare time I'm refurbishing..
spare time??? what's that?
I have a few (brand new) shower tracks I can send on to you..

BTW, those snaps are for use to hold different parts of the shower curtain in place..I'll see if I can draw up the pattern for you to make your own..

Hey 53FC -- that's mighty nice of you! I'll PM you with my address. Realize that I do have the track -- it's everything that goes in the track that I'm missing.

I went to go-rv.com (your link), but that appeared to be merely a listing of every dealer in every state. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to negotiate through that to weed out the vintage part dealers. Please let me know -- thanks!

1.Go to the website
2.Select a state, for example-CA.,then select "go"
3. On the new window, select a dealer's name. Then, at the top...select index..Really from there, you should be able to find your way around rather easily`
4.If not, just try typing in a page number at the top.

I just went outside in my PJ's to look at this again (Brrrr -- early morning chill!)...

I guess the snaps aren't that dizzying. A 7 snap configuration (wishbone shaped) that comes up to the end of the track.

The bottom left one has the female snap attached with a loop. All of the others are empty.

I'm assuming the right wishbone leg is storage position and the left is 'in-use' position?

If I'm right, I'm just left with a few questions I think.

I can figure out the arc for the curtain easy enough. Is this curtain merely a rectangle with one giant arc for the top down through the right side?

Are all the attachments snap/loops (non-track) and loop/hangers (track)?

How many loop/hangers (if I'm right)? Although I'm guessing it's ultimately the snap spacing plus one or two for fit.

What's this hanger look like -- ball (assuming) diameter? Thanks!

Now to answer a few question..

I have 14 hanger loops in the track.

If you stand in front of the tub, the left side is for the storage of the shower curtain and the right attachment is "in-use" position.

Are all the attachments snap/loops (non-track) and loop/hangers (track)?

As I understand you..the ans. is yes, with one exception..Some of the snaps on the wall are for the the curtain's attached snaps..(These are not loop'd back types per se)

What's this hanger look like -- ball (assuming) diameter? Thanks!
