Yagerschnitzel
Had some me some Yagerschnitzel tonight served up my the Mercury Diner at Garden of the Gods (Colorado Springs area).
The owner spent 4 months renovating the Diner by himself. Big job!
Thumbs up!

The food up in Helen is usually pretty good. Don’t know if you have been there before or not but if not, it is best to go during the week if at all possible as the weekends the area gets very congested. Are you going to be staying at the Top of Georgia park?

Lauri, I have visited the area twice a year for the last 5 years. I like the crowds in town. Some great people watching opportunities. Yep, staying at TOG. Such a friendly and relaxing park. Will be heading over to Palmetto Cove for Alumalina Tuesday the 24th.

Jägerschnitzel! Was it venison or wild boar?
Lynn
PS: If your keyboard won't produce the ä, then you write it out as ae. By convention, then, it would be either Jägerschnitzel or Jaegerschnitzel, but not Jagerschnitzel.

For those that haven’t been to Helen, Ga, it’s a small town in the north Georgia mountains that kinda/sorta looks like an alpine village depending upon the amount of beer consumed. There are several restaurants that specialize in German food. It is a cute place to go, however, if you have actually been to Germany and had German food/beer then you will be disappointed but it’s a place to go while in search of cooler weather. There is an Airstream park about 7 miles north of the town.
