Would you buy this???
I made this stain glass suncatcher and would like to know if this is something Airstreamers would buy. If so how much would you spend?
It is aprox 9" x 13". Larger or smaller sizes could be made. This model is of our 22FB Sport but I could make any style Airstream if I have a photo.

I had a similar idea - taking the rear window out of the trailer, removing the glass and simply using the old frame as the dimensions for a stained glass window.
Not sure how road worthy my idea is. Your sun-catcher is much more practical!

Is $75.00 to much? I have 15 hours of labor and $20.00 in material in it.

I don't think that $75.00 is too much considering the time to create and the uniqueness of this art. Can I order one for Xmas? No kidding.

I'm sure it isn't too much - I am presently negotiating with a local sign place to do one for us out of heavy multilayer plastic laminate with will have a routed design with a pic. of our exact trailer plus names and hometown for about $85.
Looks like the material is maybe 3/4" thick resin - ok for outdoors, no mtce.,
and the size is something like 12" x 20".

Yo'u shoul'd ge't a'n extr'a $5 buck's i'f yo'u leav'e of'f th'e apostroph'e.
Apostrophes indicate possession or elipsis. Elipsis means when you leave out a letter, like I'm for I am or don't for do not.
They should never be used on a sign.
I have only been able to think up one exception. If you made up a sign for a Scottish clan chieftain, and he was knows as The MacGregor of the MacGregors, and it was his Airstream, it would be correct to write The MacGregor's Airstream.
The correct wording on your sign would be The Deitzes, Edna Gary and Rocky. No apostrophe needed for a plural.

Just got my email saying my sun catcher is done and I love the photo. I can not wait to give it to my wife for Christmas. I know she is going to love it. We are a Pack because of our 3 dogs.
Thank you Gary!!

I use the Tiffany method of foil and solder. The edge is Zinc channel and is silver.

Another art form
Great sun catchers!
Our daughter does machine embroidery, and she did eight folding chair backs for us. She would like to do more if anyone is interested. Our chair frames were family heirlooms, but she has a design for a cover that slips over the back of the modern folding camp chairs.

I really, really, really like the sun catcher you completed for The Iverson Pack. It appears that no two are, or will be, alike. I can't wait to see mine.

So far I have not used the same colors for any 2 of them,As you know I use a picture that is sent to me and let the buyer choose the colors for the background. I started on yours today and should have it done by end of this week.

Great Gift
Just returned from picking up our suncatcher from Gary. He did a great job with the color choices and design to match our camper. I was going to give this to my husband for Xmas--but--gave it to him today. The hooks at the top of the glass frame will be handy for hanging this from our awning. We are both very pleased with this one of a kind item.
