Would rather be working on my A/S

But, instead I'm working on house plumbing.... sigh. While digging the 4' deep hole to access (& assess) an in-line frost-proof valve, I fell against the yard/water hydrant and broke it off. Now twice the work. Thankfully it is warm outside and I have a few hours till dark.

Would rather be finishing my weatherstripping job on my trailer. One window left and then I get to rebuild the vista windows and put them back in place.

on the bright side the parts will probably be cheaper than parts for the trailer and since it is warm you're not digging frozen ground.

.... and you can add it to your resume! you're very talented :-)

I'm not sure how "Ditch Digger"' helps to enlarge a resume with Astro-Engineer and Rocket Scientist on it all ready

Totally understand! I have all my window and compartment gaskets, but have yet been able to start. Busy at work, and being self employed that is always a really good thing. Had hoped to get my barn doors reconfigured to 12x12 instead of the 8x8 they are now before the time changed so I could have a warm place to work, but again, business comes first.

Yes, Rocket Scientist at heart...still. But this new *ranch care-taking* job is really challenging me - mostly physical but some mental aerobics too. Every week leads to something different. Last week I started making a formal weekly report for the ranch owner. Boy, that report looks A LOT different than they did when I worked at the space center. It's almost comical. If I weren't so tired. Half done with the job - need to get to HD to get a replacement valve.

So the life of a "ranch woman" is challenging too! Hope it's everything you thought it would be. Take a break and come to the Canopener. You know it's worth the drive. Stay well.

Oh man, whenever I log-in to this forum and see the Canopener thread I get all sad... wish I could spend another birthday with y'all. It was a good time and it was worth the drive. At that time I couldn't believe I towed it all that way - now I've made it to the other side of the country! And, on Marathon tires.

I'll get up early one day during the Canopener and fix me'self a bloody mary and toast to you.

Laura
