Don't know. Mother in Law gave it to me just before she died.

Those 2 roof airs are electric heat pumps as well- and they throw off some real warm, toasty, cozy, heat up in the 'Stream- in about a minute flat-
Drain/blow out with compressed air before you go- if you want city water when you get there just hook up- although I really don't foresee it being cold enough for the lines to freeze on a short trip.

Weather forecast for next weekend still looks good- highs in the 50's, lows in the 30's and 40's with no rain-

Just keep in mind that heat pumps loose their effectiveness colder it gets out side. Check your book for the units it should state when cold is too cold for the unit to pull heat out of air. I want to say I heard 40 degrees..

I have not yet been in temperatures low enough for the heat pump not to work. I doubt I would be camping if it is that cold, but if I do I still have the propane furnace.
I just use the heat pumps instead of the propane furnace to conserve the propane.
I already have electricity at the campsite- no extra cost-
If I run the propane furnace I have to pay to refill the propane tanks.

The blower noise associated with the use of the heat pump in our 25FB made the use of the quieter propane furnace a good deal for getting us to sleep and still have what is left of our hearing operational in the morning.

I believe the heat strip in the 25FB Air Conditioner unit was 4,000 BTUs (as I remember from 40 years ago, there are 3,400 BTUs to a kilowatt of electricity) vs the 25,000 BTUs in the input of the furnace. The net output of the furnace would probably be in the neighborhood of 20,000 BTUs and the heat is also blown around the "fluid" tanks in the belly to keep them from freezing.

The heat pumps are loud, but I have 2- I can run the one in front when I am sleeping in the back-
The propane furnace is loud, too.
The only roof airs that are quieter are the ducted ones in sobs. We know Airstream can have ducted air because of the new Land Yacht concept...

we had the roof unit on the first night we camped at the dealer....the loud part does not bother me...what drove me nuts was going from off to ON...next time I will simply leave fan on low or medium instead of auto to mitigate and indeed use the center unit..

The furnace is significantly quieter...not even close in our unit...oh you can hear it come on...but nothing like the overhead HP cutting on, wow, I had read they are load, and folks were right!

bugsbunny...ill let you know what I think....I need to call them actually and talk and see if I can get a reservation or if I have to just show up there...little squeamish about planning without having a reservation on a holiday weekend...I am hoping they will give me an idea of how busy they will be...surely if we check in on thanksgiving day itself that it will not be bad?

Since most of my camping is on holiday weekends, I always make a point of getting reservations. That usually involves a small "reservation fee" but is cheap insurance compared to having to settle for someplace else— or worse, turn around and go home— at the last minute.

On the other hand, Thanksgiving weekend isn't exactly a prime camping weekend, since the vast majority will be at home watching parades and football games, and eating in sybaritic comfort. Last year, the campgrounds I visited for the Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's weekends were nowhere close to full. Even if you take your chances, you'll probably be all right.

The holidays where reservations are mandatory are Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day. Those weekends, everyone who can camp, does camp.

...and the fact that it cycles on/off so often...
But I am cheap- make the propane last-
Also- make a reservation- might save some headache and frustration-
