WinterStorm Picture
Just a quick picture of my Suburban buried under the snow here in NH. We're stunned, with over 2 feet of snow.
I'll share more later, after we dig our way out. All the doors are blocked with deep snow~~!!
If you look closely at the picture, you can make out the rearview mirror..That's just abt all..
ciao

I don't miss it!
I have old photos like that from when I lived in the Colorado foothills and we had 3 to 4 feet of snow.
We had a record cold morning here for yesterday's date (26 degrees, I believe), but we had only a very heavy frost and a mist that made it look a little like it had snowed.
By 10:00, I was working in the unheated trailer in just a sweatshirt and by mid-afternoon, folks were running around in shorts. Even last night at 9:30 I needed just a long sleeve shirt. We expect the 70s today.

After experiencing a blizzard here in Winnipeg a few years ago, I found the engine compartment in my vehicle was plugged solid with snow.

Waban? what ever gave you that idea?
I'm in Rowley. (I know, "where the heck is Rowley?" )
30 miles N of Boston, on 95. Not too far from you. We should do lunch sometime.
I was in MHT a couple of weeks ago, looking at baby furniture......

I see you are all taking it easy, going home to your warm cozy house !!!
In southern Virginia, we had just a few inches of weird stuff: mix of snow and ice. Very dense and hard. Very icy.
We just managed to remove the crust of ice from the trailer step. It was there since Saturday. Made going in and out very challenging.
Haven't been able to free the door-mat yet, most of it is still burried in ice.
You have not experienced RVing until you see your Airstream shining in the moonlight - encrusted in ice on most of the body. Very nice.
Greetings from Chantal & Mike, freezing our b**s in VA.

your roof
word of advice to all you easteners that just got all that snow.
check your roof on the house. if you get a sunny cold snap you may find yourself with ice dams!
rake the first 8 or 10 feet of snow off your roof. this will prevent melting snow from seeping back under the shingles causing leaks.
those of you with flat roofs good luck!
we had a snow like that 2 years ago. spent the better part of a saturday raking my eves off. glad i did, both houses on each side of me had extensive water damage! one had a new roof installed prior to the winter!
those of you who are old hands at this already have heaters installed!
