I would like to know what is up with the flamingos. I simply do not get it. I do not understand it. I really do not like them and find them totally tacky. At a recent rally they were everywhere, and I just do not understand. Can someone please explain it to me? Can someone enlighten me?
Frank

Maybe this will help bring closure.

breast cancer

Let us not forget that the pink flamingo is associated with breast cancer fund raisers. I fly mine as a memory to friends who have died with this disease and also of those who are survivors. I have made many bracelets with pink flamingos and breast cancer ribbons as fund raisers and during breast cancer awareness month the pink flamingos decorate my bead store. Sandy

Now I have even more questions. I guess some things should just stay an amusement.

Just bought my first pink flamingoes. Does anyone know where I can get a fake palm tree?

I don't know where to buy them but they are out there. My sister in law has two of them, and I saw a neon-light-up palm tree at a campsite in Roaring River state park. Have you tried Hobby Lobby?

Flamingoes and Airstreams, it's "campy", we're "boomers" ... perfect fit.

Artificial Palm Trees, Tiki Huts - Custom Made Palm Trees (they're real proud of 'em).

The iced drink maker is what got my attention... 'course, would need to add your favorite adult beverage...
