We have not used our Airstream since Mid July. A major health issue and a subsequent surgery and the recovery period for my darling wife are the reason for our non-use of Hi Yo Silver. We hope to be able to go out for a couple long weekends in early October.

We're hoping to have the new nose section done this weekend. The 13 panel ends are a real challenge to get right. With the two ends done, we can start skinning the sides and top. We'll be moving windows around and have found that the ribs aren't even close to being square. Hand built doesn't mean it's perfect. At least we aren't the only ones who fudge here and there to get it right.
The neighbor cat has really enjoyed sleeping inside. Someday we will too!

Yup, going out again this weekend to join our NEU friends in Freeport ME. We figure no sense in staying home any weekends too soon since now the lawn is too tall to cut!

No excuses here - we are going camping this weekend. Playing hookie on Friday and going to Alpine Lake CG in Corinth, NY. Gonna bet on the ponies Sat. nite in Saratoga Springs.

Wheel and tire swap on the trailer this weekend, repack bearings, check out springs as I may replace them as they are the originals. I'm a tad nervous of the Carlisle tires - one is leaking down and the tire shop cannot find where it's coming from, but it loses a couple of pounds at least a day. Have a set of ugly wheels and brand new Marathon tires to pick up Saturday to throw on it while I find another set of larger mag 5 spoke wheels. Moving up from 14's to 15's for now and may go to 16's if I can find the right wheels. Hey, they have to match the TV's wheels, right?

I've never used mine I don't own a tow vehicle. I bought my Tradewind to live in while my house is being built. Construction starts this spring (presented to Design Panel last night and was given their blessing) and I'll be living full time in it for the better part of a year. All funds need to be directed towards the house. So once it is finished, I'm hoping to get a tow vehicle and start getting away on short trips during long weekends and my anual vacation.

Thanks Barry. Design Panel was but one hurdle I must clear. I still have to go to the Advisory Planning Commission, City Council and hold a Public Hearing!
